John P. Lopez is the co-host of In the Loop on Sports Radio 610 in Houston, Texas. For 17 years prior to that he was a columnist for the Houston Chronicle. John has been a long-time lover of cooking and eating barbecue and he makes a really good sauce; so good that he was encouraged to sell it. John is an avid fisherman and the host of a podcast called, Bite Me, a Texas saltwater fishing podcast. He has followed up the popular Bite Me podcast with the new podcast, Bite Meat which is focused on his love of barbecue.
