Oooh - I am excited!! If you know ME, you know I like Starbucks ... and D-O-G-S . (Just take a quick scroll through my Facebook photos and you just might see a few little white fluffy fur babies papering my page - oh ... maybe a few bazillion times or so.) So you can probably imagine my enthusiasm when my neighbor, Amber Moore, sat down with me to share about a rescue organization that she is active in - an organization that is VERY near and dear to her heart! Amber is the Area Coordinator for Norcal Golden Retriever Rescue . Hi Everyone! Welcome Back to the podcast. Today is completely off the cuff - me just sharing with you about something I am going to deliberately accomplish as I turn the page and continue "righting" my next chapter. Sometimes the way we speak to ourselves ABOUT ourselves serves no good purpose and that needs to change. In today's episode, I share something I learned when I woke up this morning, looked in the mirror and simply said, "Well HELLO, pretty girl!" It kind of shocked me, to be honest. Yes, I said the words but those are not words I normally say to myself. But today I did - I felt them, I thought them, I verbalized them! And I want to encourage you to do the same ... start speaking more kindly - more DELIBERATELY kindly - to yourself. Today I am so pleased to introduce you to my friend - AND my former 5th grade elementary school teacher - Marge Michaels. Marge is a wife and mother, a teacher and businesswoman and a long time family friend. It is my privilege to share her story with you.
