Born in Madrid in 1979 and playing since more than 10 years, he has offered his characteristic musical style to the electronic scenes of Spain and Europe. In 2009, he began his residence with the Barcelona promoter, FACT. Over these 5 years of residence, his musical style evolved on stage, perf orming across the globe, including Australia, Germany, Switzerlan d, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Portugal, England, Italy,… sharing Booths with artists such as Carl Craig, Livio&Roby, Guy Gerber, Marco Carola, Saun Reeves, Ryan Crosson and many others. Throughout this period of his musical devel opment in DJ booths worldwide, little by little he discovered the sound that most closely suited his personality and style– exp erimental, minimalist, dub, avant-garde and exponential. At this point, he decided to break out with his own record label publishing around the world, only on vinyl. Monoclap is the name of the label and it is based on an organic and purist style that aims to bring out the most underground side of each artist. Here we share launchings with such artists as Anthea, Nima Gorji, Xandru, Crocodile Soup, Jessica Diaz, Andreas Bergm ann, Nina Soul, Claire, Lifer, and others. During 2015, Roberto Martin begin with the first Monoclap showcases across Europe and with mini-tours in South America that are sure to strengthen his artistic figure within the underground music scene. 2015 is also the year in which many of the studio’s productions, most of them on vinyl, will see the light in labels such as Monoclap, OMGR, Art In U and others
