Boro's season starts against Millwall at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday, August the 5th while their first away trip is to Coventry the following weekend, the side that beat them in the play-off semi-finals.

Michael Carrick's side head to the Stadium of Light to take on Sunderland in early October with the return fixture in February.

Boxing Day sees a trip to Rotherham while Boro ring in the new year against Coventry at the home.

The longest trip of the season - to Devon to face Plymouth Argyle - is in November.
