Alejandra Campoverdi is the Founder of Well Woman Health, a breast cancer survivor, a women’s health advocate, and the host of Pod is a Woman. She was recently featured in the documentary, Inheritance, that details her journey with undergoing preventive, life altering surgery to remove her breasts in the hope of reducing her risk for breast cancer. Prior to this, she worked in the Obama White House and served as the White House Deputy Director of Hispanic Media. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
