Direct feedback is a solicited and guided reaction from a user. It includes Product Market Fit feedback, Market Research Feedback, Net Promoter Score (NPS), Product CSAT, Product CES, Product Feature Feedback, Product Strengths and Weaknesses Feedback, Marketing Attribution, and Bug Reports. Indirect feedback is gained by tracking user behaviour and interactions with a product or service and includes interactions with customer service, social media, analytics tools data, and A/B testing.
