Die Vorteile des Nüchternheitskonzepts für Patient:innen:

Wasser und klare Flüssigkeiten bis kurz vor der Operation zu erlauben,

• erhöht die Sicherheit für Patient:innen und hilft postoperative Komplikationen zu verringern,
• reduziert Unwohlsein, Hunger- und Durstgefühl,
• verringert das Stressgefühl für die Patient:innen,
• kann den Blutdruck stabilisieren,
• kann die Anlage von venösen Zugängen erleichtern,
• reduziert postoperativ Übelkeit, Erbrechen und Schmerzen.
