In this episode of Inside the Path to Success Podcast, Fran sits down with Brian O'Grady, a professional baseball player in who plays overseas in Japan for the Saitama Seibu Lions.
Brian is also the host of the Breaking Bats Podcast, where he talks baseball with some of the best players in the world, as well as the owner of Ritchie Bats - a custom wood bat company based in Pensacola, Florida.
Prior to this season, Brian recently played for the Cincinnati Reds, where he was drafted in 2014 in the 8th round, the Tampa Bay Rays, where he won the AL Championship and got to play in a World Series, and most recently the San Diego Padres.
In this episode we discuss:

  • Being drafted to Cincinnati & the grind of getting through the farm system
  • Being called up to the big leagues and having 5 hours to get from Bucks County to the Reds stadium
  • What it's like getting your first hit & home run
