Eagle populations have been boosted in the South of Scotland to their highest numbers for decades, thanks to The South of Scotland Golden Eagle Project (SSGEP), a collaborative project between land managers and conservationists. Rick Taylor joins Anna to talk about their work.

We also hear from Freddie Ingleby from Caledonian Climate - an environmental service and consultancy firm working with landholders, communities and businesses to revitalise Scotland’s peatlands.

Both organisations were winners in the 2022 Scottish Land and Estates 'Helping It Happen' Awards. This is the final episode in our three-part mini-series in partnership with SLE, hearing from 2022 winners how awards recognition has helped them. We also hear in each episode from SLE chief executive Sarah-Jane Laing.

The 2023 Helping It Happen awards from Scottish Land and Estates are open for nominations here (but be quick!).
