The Edmonton Oilers four-game road trip continues tonight in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Oilers will go head-to-head against the Carolina Hurricanes, the odds-on favourite to make the Stanley Cup final from the Eastern Conference at the start of the season.

Much like the Oilers, the season didn't start perfectly for Carolina; however, they managed to get back on track quickly and now have a 7-3-0 record in their last ten games. Most recently, they beat the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday 4-2 with two goals coming from Seth Jarvis.

Edmonton is still looking for its first win on this road trip. They had 2-0 leads versus the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Florida Panthers in their previous two games but weren't able to close out their competition.

Head Coach Kris Knoblauch has gone to the blender with his lines for tonight. Leon Draisaitl has been elevated to the first line with Connor McDavid which has resulted in Connor Brown's demoted to the fourth. Additionally, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins will centre the second line with Evander Kane and Zach Hyman on his wings. There have been changes to the blueline too with Cody Ceci rotating on the bottom pair with Vincent Desharnais alongside Philip Broberg. Between the pipes, it looks like Stuart Skinner will get the nod over Calvin Pickard.
