- Where were the people going wrong?
- Misplaced priorities
- Haggai 1:3-4
- They were hesitant due to comparison
- Haggai 2:3
- Ezra 3:12-13
- They stopped the work of the Lord
- Why did they stop?
- They were tired from opposition and discouraged
- Ezra 4:1-5
- Haggai 2:4-5
- Haggai reminds us that knowing someone’s story allows us to have compassion towards then rather than frustration, and to present God’s clear word to them rather than our personal judgement.
