Vergle Gipson, senior advisor, at Idaho National Lab's Cybercore Integration Center, joins the podcast to discuss cyber-informed engineering and the maturing discipline of operational technology (OT) cybersecurity.
Gipson recently testified before a House Committee on Homeland Security about the need to secure industrial control systems against cyberattacks. One of the recommendations he suggested to the committee was the need for cyber-informed engineering, which has parallels to secure software development for IT.
