In honor of Black History Month 2021, I'm taking it back to an episode that originally aired on June 1, 2020 in order to highlight events that most people do not know about because just like financial literacy it is rarely taught in schools - Black history. This episode is a solo one, where I retell the story of Freedman's Savings Bank as I learned it myself after researching and digging through online articles and journals for hours. Whether you know the story already or not, tune in to hear me tell it my way because I am PASSIONATE!
