"Out of my distress, I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free." Psalm 118:5

John 8:31-32 is one of the most profound verses in the Bible. It's a promise from Jesus that we will be set free if we know the truth. This is a great truth to remember when we are feeling burdened, anxious, or hopeless. The truth can set us free from our guilt, our fears, and our doubts. It can free us from the chains of our past mistakes and help us to move forward in our lives. The truth is that Jesus died for our sins and that he wants us to have a relationship with Him.

When we know the truth, we can start living in freedom. We can start living in the truth that we are loved and forgiven, that we have a purpose in life, and that we are worth something. We can start living in the truth that we are not alone, that God is with us, and that He is our hope and refuge. When we know the truth, it changes everything. It changes the way we think, the way we feel, and the way we live. It sets us free from the lies that the enemy tells us, giving us hope and a new start.

Acts 13:38-39 says, "Let it be known to you therefore, brothers, that through Christ forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and by him, everyone who believes is freed from everything from which the law of Moses could not free you."

There are many things in life that we fear. We may fear failing, and we may fear being hurt; we may fear not being good enough. But to be truly free, we must learn to fear nothing but evil. God tells us in scripture that we will know the truth, and the truth will set us free. This is because there is nothing more powerful than the truth. It is the truth that will set us free from our fears, our doubts, and our sins. If we want to be free, we must care for nothing but the will of God. This may be difficult, but it is worth it. When we put God first, we find true happiness and freedom.

When we seek to follow the will of God, we become more humble. We learn to put others before ourselves, and we learn to forgive. This is the path to true freedom. The truth will make us free, but it is up to us to choose to follow it. When we do, we find true freedom and happiness. So if you are feeling burdened, anxious, or hopeless, remember that the truth will make you free. Jesus is the truth, and He wants to set you free. Amen. Galatians 3:22 says, "But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe." Amen.

Say Lord Jesus, I thank you for your steadfast love and the freedom you bestow upon me. I am grateful
