Ohio State fans (and other fans of prominent college football programs) cannot seem to help themselves. They cannot admit that J.J. McCarthy is a good quarterback, worthy of going high in the impending 2024 NFL draft. So what do they do? They make up narratives that aren't even close to being true. And then what do they do? They tweet at prominent football guys who hand them an L for all the world to see.

Such was the case for one Ohio State fan who decided to come at ESPN's Louis Riddick with a completely made up narrative about J.J. being inaccurate on the road. Riddick was more than willing to disabuse him of his faulty narrative. We dig into why OSU fans seem to struggle with grasping reality when it comes to McCarthy.
