Otto Lopez singled in Christian Bethancourt in the bottom of the tenth inning, capping off a wild rally that saw the Marlins scored eight runs in the final four innings to overcome a five-run deficit and win their fourth game in a row.

Josh Bell smashed a three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning, capping off a furious five-run rally to tie the game at nine and send it to extra innings. The Marlins scored eight runs fin the last four innings off the Mets bullpen.

The Marlins fell behind early, and every time they got close, the Mets would creep further ahead, until the ninth, when the Marlins finally caught up.

The Mets jumped on Miami starter Braxton Garrett early, scoring two runs in the first inning. The Marlins tied it in the third, then added a run in the fourth and four more in the fifth to put the game away.

The Marlins got to within two runs at 7-5 in the bottom of the eighth, the Mets added two more in the ninth, setting the stage for the Marlins' to score five and tie the game.

Bell had three hits and four RBI's for Miami. Jazz Chisholm, Jr, had three hits, including a home run, and three RBI's for the Marlins. Chisholm singled in a run and scored in the ninth.

J.D. Martinez had two hits and two RBI's for the Mets. Jeff McNeil and Harrison Bader drove in two runs each for the Mets.

The two teams wrap up their three-game series tomorrow, with Sixto Sanchez on the mound for Miami.
