The Washington Huskies have a lot of work to do to rebuild their roster after losing 20 starters to the transfer portal and NFL draft after playing in the national championship game, and moving to the Big Ten won't help that process, but in a poll of Big Ten media members conducted by Cleveland.com, Jedd Fisch's squad was picked to finish No. 10 in the conference but has the tools to finish higher than that thanks to veteran quarterback Will Rogers, talented wide receivers Denzel Boston and Jeremiah Hunter, and a defense led by coordinator Steve Belichick, linebacker Carson Bruener, and safety Kamren Fabiculanan. Fisch's coaching staff is also preparing to host its first-ever "Luau At The Lake," an end-of-summer recruiting event styled like Michigan's "BBQ At The Big House" and is expecting to host some big-time prospects in the 2025 and 2026 classes, including four-star safety Ladarian Clardy, and four-star edge rushers Derek Colman-Brusa and Anthony Jones, along with the majority of their committed prospects in the 2025 class.
