We welcome guest Ed DeCaria from Baseball HQ to talk about his research into the field of playing time. Ed has written some wonderful abstracts in the BHQ Baseball Forecaster about how we can look at playing time in a better lenses than we currently are. He talks about breaking down the plate appearances into several different buckets such as active starts per week, plate appearances per active week and plate appearances per active start.

Then we get a pop in visit from Jason R.R. Martinez as Jeff Zimmerman summoned him mid pod!
