Hey Everyone thank you for tuning in! In today’s episode I read from 2 Kings chapters 22 & 23. The Bible states in 2 Kings 23:25 “Never before had there ever been a king like Josiah, who turned to the Lord with all His heart, soul, and strength, obeying all the laws of Moses. And there has never been a king since. King Josiah was definitely a hero. When he read about the Book of the Law and seen how the Lord’s anger had burned so fiercely against Judah, as a leader who feared the Lord and loved Him He immediately repented of the people’s evil practices, humbled his self and made changes all over Judah and Jerusalem. He tore down all the idols, and alters, also reinstated the Passover celebration to honor the Lord. The takeaway lesson is this, good leaders know when to humble themselves in front of God and inspire others to follow the Lord, Josiah reminds us that no one is above God.
