What did God say would happen to those who brought an abomination into their house? What does the word “Abomination” mean? What are some examples found in scripture that are viewed by God as an Abomination? Should we view those things the same way God does even if others in society think differently? In II Corinthians 6:14-18, God promises to receive us and make us his son’s and daughters if we do what? What does the word “Accursed” mean? In Joshua 7:21-25, what happened to Achan and his family when he took the Accursed thing into his house? In Joshua 7:11-12, what consequence did Israel face after the Accursed thing was taken by Achan? What did God say had to be done to fix this problem? Do you think God has the same standard for us in the New Testament? After they repented of their sin, what did God send as token of his mercy toward them?
