How do we create moments and value for our children in a world of disconnecting that enables them to connect with themselves, and help them understand the value in that?

In this episode, we continue our conversation with Rabbi Dr. Gil Perl, where Rabbi Perl answers this question and many more topics focused on parenting. Rabbi Perl has a fresh take on our generations biggest challenge to parenting and educating children, and how to deal with it. Rabbi Perl discusses the importance of tuning in to what our children really enjoy and helping them shine in those areas, and how that can help towards raising children in their avodas Hashem. Rabbi Perl discusses the importance of having the skill set to talk abut Hashem, and why it is not a given that all parents or even educators have that skill set, and how we can overcome that, and much much more

Rabbi Dr. Gil Perl is the CEO of the Ades Family Foundation and the founding Head of School of the Jewish Leadership Academy which is a middle and high school opening in Miami in 2023. He is the former Head of School at Kohelet Yeshiva in Merion Station, PA and the Margolin Hebrew in Memphis. He is the author of the book The Pillar of Volozhin: Rabbi Naftali Zvi Yehuda Berlin and the World of Nineteenth Century Lithuanian Torah Scholarship. Rabbi Perl writes and lectures on topics including history of Modern Jewry, contemporary Jewish education, and Modern Orthodoxy. Rabbi Perl has a blog gilperl.com and you can find him on Twitter @gperl.
