Bio:
Jenese is a multifaceted Yoga, Recovery & Embodiment Coach and Health & Wellness Specialist at the Resource Recovery Center in Middletown NY. In addition, through her own company Jenese offers transformative practices rooted in yoga and holistic healing, leading retreats, workshops, and training nationwide. Continuing her education in Recovery Coaching and trauma-informed modalities, she is also training to become a CASAC Substance Abuse Counselor.

Transition to Recovery Work
Jenese's vision to blend yoga with recovery began over two decades ago. Despite setbacks like the closure of her studio during the pandemic, she found new purpose working with underprivileged children before joining the Resource Recovery Center as a coach, realizing her longstanding goal of aiding the addiction recovery community through wellness practices.
Wellness Practices for Recovery
Jenese introduces trauma-informed yoga, meditation, tapping, embodiment coaching, Ayurveda, and somatic movements. She envisions inviting various wellness practitioners for workshops to create a client comprehensive wellness toolbox.

Jenese shares her journey through divorce, miscarriage, and financial struggles, underscoring the importance of finding beauty in life's chaos. She advocates for practices like yoga, exercise, and nature connection to navigate difficulties. Current and Future Projects
Jenese’s vision is to set up a wellness department and toolbox at the Recovery Center, alongside launching "Elemental Embodiment," a workshop merging Ayurveda and Chinese medicine. She is also planning a restorative yoga certification training centered on the nervous system, and a somatic Portugal retreat with her sister Dana from 4/27 to 5/3/24.
