An odd thing happens when people, birds, bees, and horses decide to work together instead of working separately. The combined effect of the interaction of two or more is greater than the sum of their individual results. Canadian geese flying in formation, for example, can fly much further and faster than the sum of the individual birds flying alone. They fly more as one BIG bird than as many individuals.
