As you probably know already, folks who are farther along their financial journeys and have been investing for years are well aware of how to make capital gains work for them come tax season. That said–many of the wealthiest investors use capital gains as something akin to a tax loophole. As a part of her presidential campaign, Vice President Harris is proposing a tax policy aimed at the ultra wealthy, who have been exploiting capital gains for some time. This would also relieve the tax burden of the rest of us somewhat.
