Nick Butter is the first person in history to run a marathon in every country on earth - hitting up 196 countries in just a two year time-frame - in what was a herculean task. Along the way he raised over quarter of a million pounds for Prostate Cancer UK and inspired innumerable men to get their first checks done.
Now that adventure is over, and a new one is about to begin, I reached out to Nick to see how he was going to build on everything he learnt and experienced to create his lasting legacy and impact. That phone call turned into us creating The 196 Foundation and testing out a new idea - democratising donorship.
What if we could make a foundation focused on levelling the playing amongst donors that would in turn contribute to levelling the playing field across the world?
