Today's special guest is Kelly Ogden!
Kelly, together with her husband Luis, started The Dollyrots for a bit of fun whilst college students in Florida. They then decided to take the leap of faith and make the band a full time gig, moved to LA and have been on an epic journey playing their brand of music that is chockablock full of melodies, riffs and pure joy that Ramones, The Muffs and Joan Jett would be proud of.
I'm so grateful to Kelly for being so open in sharing her formative influences, the way she has adapted as her life has changed, how her identity has evolved, dealt with the ups and downs of her career, managed the roles of rock n roller, wife and mum and how her risk taking has changed over the years.
We crammed a lot of stuff in here that's kinda relevant for all of us in dealing with our complex world. Kelly is such a natural conversationalist and this was a lot of fun.
