Meditation is a practice found in almost all ancient spiritual traditions and cultures. The practice of learning to quieten the human mind, to find the stillness within that allows a person to connect with the higher self/consciousness, the all-knowing part of ourselves.
Many people meditate for self-awareness or deeper sight into their life, or just to find stillness. Meditation is also linked to health benefits, for those who choose to practice.
