Virtual Campfire #28: Whole30, Diabetes + Healing in Nature with Stephanie Greunke and Melissa Urban
Manage episode 331698427 series 3265017
The second Virtual Campfire during our Take A Hike, Diabetes campaign is all about diabetes, Whole30 and healing in nature.
If you’re new to exploring the mind-body connection, the concept of intuitive eating can be a bit “woo woo” if you haven’t done the work to unpack diet culture and unlearn what we’ve been taught about how to nourish our bodies. If you’re interested in intuitive eating but aren’t sure how or where to start, Whole30 is a wonderful program with a bit of structure to help you do a nutritional reset and understand which foods feel good to you.
I don’t see this program as a diet, nor do I see it as restrictive. This program feels abundant, empowering, and can help you take control of your diabetes management plan. By focusing on eating whole foods and taking a break from sugar, alcohol, and processed foods, you can really get in tune with what foods make you feel good and see the results every day as you test your blood glucose levels.
This week, we're excited to welcome Stephanie Greunke, RD and Melissa Urban.
