The Rapture,

With so many different views on this what is the main point?

In summary I’ll put it right here at the top.

The main point is to be encouraged that God will never leave or forsake us, and none , (no-one and no-thing), can ever take us out of His hand. Also, we who are in Christ Jesus will all get a heavenly body one day where there will be no more pain, or sickness. Praise the Lord!

For more encouragement in hard times, which are coming in various degrees I can share that it may be beneficial to read, “Fox's Book of Martyrs”.

Ultimately when all is said and done, I myself hope for what is called Pre-tribulation catching up of the church with Christ, but don’t know with completeness how the Lord is going to work this out. So, I stand on the Pan-tribulation thinking of the matter which I share in this episode.

Here is some explanation of the rest.

let's talk about the idea of "rapture," a belief that's popular among some Christian groups, mainly in the United States. It's interesting to note that not all Christians see eye to eye on this concept, and there are different ways people think about it. Let's break down what the rapture is all about:

What is the Rapture?: The rapture is usually seen as an event in Christian beliefs about the end times. It's where followers of Christ, both those who have passed away and those who are still living, are believed to be taken up to meet Jesus in the sky.

When Might It Happen?: There's no one answer to this. People have different ideas about when the rapture might take place in relation to other big events that are said to happen at the end of times. Here are the main thoughts:

Pre-Tribulation Rapture: This view says that believers will be taken up before a really tough time of suffering and chaos on Earth begins.

Mid-Tribulation Rapture: According to this idea, the rapture happens halfway through this period of hardship.

Post-Tribulation Rapture: In this scenario, believers are taken up after all the tough times have passed.

Biblical References:

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (NIV): This is a go-to verse for talking about the rapture.

"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever."

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 (NIV): This is another important part of the Bible that mentions how believers will change when the rapture happens.

"Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed."
