Our A's haters discuss the legacy of the Giants-Athletics rivalry and what the A's moving will mean for the Giants. On the cocktail side of things Ben is drinking a Blabbey while Matthew is drinking a Verdant Whisper.
Blabbey
- 2 oz Gin
- 1 oz Lillet Rose
- 1 oz Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- 2 brandied cherries and one Clementine segment for garnish
Combine the gin, Lillet Rose, and orange juice in a shaker with ice. Shake until chilled. Double strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with the cherries and Clementine segment on a cocktail pick.
Verdant Whisper
- 1 oz Gin (London Dry)
- 1 oz Green Chartreuse (Sub Benedictine)
- 1/2 oz Elderflower Liqueur
- 3/4 oz Lime Juice
- 1/4 oz Simple Syrup
- 1 dash Celery Bitters
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a lime wheel or a sprig of thyme.
