You may have met someone who relocated for work. You may have done it yourself. Whether it’s for a higher-paying role, cheaper real estate, or simply a tree change, it can be an appealing thought. But when you weigh up all of the competing financial factors, is relocating for work worth it?

This obviously isn’t a question anyone can answer with a simple “yes” or “no”. There are a range of factors which can influence the outcome, from the location to the job opportunity. Even so, when considering such a move, it can help to have a decision matrix. That’s why, in this session, Tash and Ana welcome a guest who is a living case study for relocating.

Harry Wallace is a buyers advocate at home buyers advocacy firm Wallace Advocates. He also considerably grew his salary by relocating for work. In this session, he and the hosts discuss their experiences with professional relocation, and what they learned each time. They also share how much it cost them to relocate, and offer their tips for anyone looking to move.
