Then, a party to celebrate Filipino American pride in the county with the state’s largest Filipino population. As part of Filipino American History Month, the Filipino American Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce hosts this weekend’s Barrio Fiesta. The event celebrates more than 400 years of Filipino presence in the United States and features live music, karaoke, traditional performances, line dancing, local vendors and lots of Filipino food.
