What made the Good Samaritan Good? He saw the need of his neighbor and acted on their behalf. But what about God? This week’s question asks whether God has asked us to care for our neighbors in distress while potentially not doing so Himself. This week we’re discussing when God doesn’t seem to act for those in distress.

People have plenty of questions, but the church doesn’t always feel like a safe place to ask them. In Real Questions, we will engage with real faith questions submitted from our community. Some of the questions might seem irreverent and you might wonder if it’s okay to talk about. If we only answer safe questions, we aren’t actually safe for questions. There aren’t always easy answers, but there is always an opportunity to grow and find God in the midst of life’s questions.
