Three-Fold Paradigm
- Be aware, notice spiritual movements with the heart (other types psychological, moral)
- Understand that they are spiritual, are they consolations, desolations
- Take action (accept/ reject, or nothing) if desolations plenty to do, not just wallow in misery, hopeful and prayerful for better times. Not Stoics.
- Thesis Statement: This book is concerned with explaining, illustrating, and applying “discernment of spirits” to the ordinary, daily spiritual experience of dedicated people (so that they can experience liberation that Jesus provides and God can make the soul great[1]).[2]
