Cassie Owens Moore has been an educator for 23 years, spending 18 years as a middle school ELA teacher, 1 year as a college reading instructor, and the past 4 four years as a middle school librarian. Her school library received the 2024 South Carolina Library Program of the Year award from the South Carolina Association of School Librarians, where Moore is also the Intellectual Freedom Chair. Being a librarian is her dream job.
