It’s also been a critical and commercial disaster, with critics yawning and the audience not even showing up.

But what on earth possessed them to ‘fox’ something that was never broken? Is there anything to redeem this latest Hollywood cas-grab? And will we ever live in a world where this sort of cynical crap isn’t all that Hollywood is offering?
