In Podcast Episode 273, “Trust the Lord to Cover Your Six,“ Kim discusses the idea of having someone “cover your six” and the importance of trusting the Lord to be the ultimate One you trust. It is wonderful to have human connections who vow to be there for you; we all need some of those. Yet, there is only One who can watch your six and cover your six completely, 24/7/365.

Our focal passage for this episode is 1 Kings 15:1-8 and 2 Chronicles 13:1-22 with verses 2 Chronicles 13:13-15 as the focal verses:

13 Meanwhile, Jeroboam had secretly sent part of his army around behind the men of Judah to ambush them. 14 When Judah realized that they were being attacked from the front and the rear, they cried out to the Lord for help. Then the priests blew the trumpets, 15 and the men of Judah began to shout. At the sound of their battle cry, God defeated Jeroboam and all Israel and routed them before Abijah and the army of Judah.
