Have no fear, today’s episode title isn’t suggesting that Drew and Sam are straying from the straight and narrow, nor have they lost all reason (well no more than usual anyway!) Thankfully, Drewling Samantics will continue to be the very best it can be. In actual fact, “Off the Rails” refers, rather appropriately, to this week’s fabulous guest, Tim Nixon.
Both the boys have had the pleasure of working with Tim, and knew a little of his ‘life before the boards’, but Tim has much more to tell. Prior to making the decision to become an actor full-time (if there is such a thing!), Tim had a very long and successful career as a… Well it’s no good revealing that just yet, that’s to find out in the show itself! But suffice to say he helped keep Londoners on the move, before he himself made his substantial career move.
Tim tells the Drewling Samantics chaps about his past work, sharing some great stories and memories, and then explains how and why he turned life on its head to become an performer. Although relatively new to the business, he has had much success in many fields, and the relish with which he tackles his work is truly inspiring to anyone new to this world - or equally those who are also considering taking the leap.
All aboard for a fabulous guest episode, it’s just the ticket…alright time to stop that now!
