Dr. Hindol Sengupta, from Jamshedpur, is an Indian historian, journalist, and author. He is the Editor-at-Large at Fortune India and has worked as a senior journalist with top broadcasters and publications. He studied South Asian history and politics at Worcester College, Oxford, as a Chevening Scholar, and also studied business and finance as a Knight-Bagehot Fellow. He has written on a wide range of topics, including Indian history, religion, economics, and social issues. His well-known books include "Being Hindu" and "The Modern Monk.
