CD 1641 Discipleship Series - Week #1 - A Date With Destiny

*Series Text: Matthew 28:11-20 (KJV) Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done. 12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers, 13 Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept. 14 And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you. 15 So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day. 16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. 17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations (to make disciple), baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

All through the Word of God we people's names are linked with their destiny! Only those who choose true Discipleship can access this hidden manna now (see Rev. 2:17 later in this study)! Everyone desires to be Cleared- forgiven but fewer desire to be Converted and even less will accept the correction of true Discipleship! We will cover, this thought and the previous those verses in more detail in this series, but today, let me ask you this question:

Q. What is "Destiny"? Today on Father's Day 2024 do you understand you have a Date with Your Daddy's Destiny?

A. “Destiny” is God's plan and purpose for your life. It is your appointed or ordained future. “Destiny” is God’s best for you to be and to become, in His divine will. But know and always remember “Destiny” is not by Chance, “Destiny” is a Choice. Each child of God has their very own spiritual destiny, it is unique to you. God’s “Destiny” is your only way to peace and complete fulfillment! If you don’t grow into your “Daddy’s Destiny“ you will suffer much and try many things to be able to live in peace! This series is vital for you and I to move deeper in the “Recovery of Joy” He has started in our lives! Turn to the church at Pergamos in Revelation chapter 2 please:

*Revelation 2:12-17 (KJV) And to the angel of the church in Pergamos (fortified) write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; 13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth. 14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. 15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate. 16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. 17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
