This is a special limited edition podcast series of four interviews commissioned by Creative New Zealand as a part of the DA Field Guide 2020 - An exploration of NZ’s post Covid design practice. In this special series we’ll hear from leaders in the NZ design community and further our discourse around the creative and economic wellbeing of our community, identify opportunites for positive change, speculate on the future of our practice and critically examine the post Covid design landscape in Aotearoa. Tēnā koutou I’m Louise, Design Assembly Founder and Director and today I’m talking to Raul Sarrot. Raul is a designer, strategist and coach that specialises in helping transform organisations and brands to align and connect with their internal and external audiences. Raul’s international trajectory has been forged over 27 years working alongside a wide range of commercial and not-for-profit clients in the Asia Pacific, the Americas and Europe. He currently runs Freshfish, his boutique design innovation studio –specialised in strategy, branding and business innovation– and leads CO, a global innovation collective. He is also a part-time senior university lecturer and a long-standing member and former Chair of the AUT Communication Design Advisory Committee (Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand).
