Courageous Conversations with Sheree welcomes Ms. Vasundhara S Nair. Our topic is conscious evolution and our very special guest is a Senior Research Fellow and Mental Health Clinician at NIMHANS. It's timely. It's riveting. And it is an essential conversation to start off the New Year.

Ms. Vasundharaa has been working with patients with various psychiatric and neurological conditions for past 3 years thereby providing individual and family interventions. She holds her research interests in the field of biological disasters like HIV/AIDS, ZIKA, COVID19 and Acute Brain Infections. Along with that she provided care to a range of acute to chronic neurological conditions at both individual and family level. Working with a wide range of population from children to elderly different models of therapy thereby increasing the Knowledge and promoting right Attitudes and Practices is one of her key interests where she involves research and practice.

Qualifications:

MSW (Social Work), M.Phil (Psychiatric Social Work), Currently pursuing PhD at NIMHANS.

Language Proficiency:

English, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada to an extent

Area of Interests:

Multiple Sclerosis (involves Adult Psychiatry), Encephalitis, Meningitis, Biological Disasters (involves Child and adolescent psychiatry), Dementia (involves Geriatric psychiatry), Cognitive-behavioral therapy, Grief Therapy and Strength-based Therapies.
