Gary was the Chief Executive Officer of BGO and its predecessor entities from 1998 to June 2020. As CEO, Gary was responsible for strategy, financial and operating performance, fiduciary and investment performance and the development of human capital across BGO’s over 65 global subsidiaries. He led the company through significant growth, geographic expansion, product diversification and consistently strong financial performance over this period. The growth was achieved both organically and inorganically, through a series of strategic acquisitions and mergers. Gary developed strong executive teams and implemented purposeful succession at all levels. The leadership team champions sustainable investment and has been consistently ranked amongst the very top echelon of their real estate peers in global ESG benchmarking for over a decade.
