Episode #036 – The conditions of the way in which we all work are shifting. It’s likely that if you’re a business owner or an employee that your workplace now allows employees to work from home or enjoy flexi-working hours.

Not only does it save money on office space, it allows employees to achieve a greater work life balance. Some of your employees may have families yet they commute 2 hours in and 2 hours home each day to get to the office, sacrificing time that could’ve been spent elsewhere.

Yet if they worked from home this could all be solved.

There’s no need to even come to the office in most cases. It’s simply been the norm for such a long time that any change doesn’t seem to make sense.

Remote working is a no brainer in my opinion.

This is what today’s guest on the podcast has come to speak about. Daniel Ramsey is the CEO and Co-Founder of MyOutDesk.com - a California based business process services company with delivery offices located in the United States and the Philippines.

By having MyOutDesk Inc. virtual assistants (VAs) work from their fully-equipped home offices in Southeast Asia Daniel and his team are able to offer significant cost savings to their clients compared to similar USA based service providers who may charge anywhere from $15 to $50 per hour. MyOutDesk Inc. is able to offer better service and results in a subscription model with substantial savings.

This was definitely an eye-opening conversation for me. Times are changing and companies need to adapt to these evolving working conditions.
