The Devils scored twice on the power play and beat the Canes 4-2 in Newark. Carolina's 3-game win streak is over. Jack Roslovic and Andrei Svechnikov each scored for the Hurricanes, the latter coming just 12 seconds into the 3rd period to tie the score at 2.
