🎙️ Welcome to another episode of Campaign War Stories! Today, we're diving deep into the world of political campaigns with Bobby Saparow, a seasoned campaign operative with a wealth of experience across the country.
In this episode, we explore:
Palmetto State Beginnings: 🌴🌟 How Bobby went from interning at the SCGOP to becoming a top campaign operative on house, senate, and presidential campaigns across the country.
Friends and Enemies in Politics: 👫👥 Navigating friendships across different campaigns can be tricky, and we all end up working against each other at some point. Can you work against each other in politics and still be friends?
Campaign Life vs. The Hill: 🏛️🏃 Bobby shares the shift in mentality he experienced from running Drew Ferguson’s campaign in Georgia to becoming his chief of staff on Capitol Hill.
Learning from our Mistakes: 📉💡 We often learn more from our losses than we do from our wins – in politics and beyond. But making mistakes makes us pay closer attention to the little things.
Winning Georgia: 🏆🍑 Lessons learned from running (and winning) one of the most-watched gubernatorial races in the country.
Let’s Play Ball: ⚾🎉 Bobby explains how Atlanta pulling out of the MLB All-Star Game became a catalyst for Brian Kemp’s national growth.
Breaking Fundraising Norms: 💰📈 How generating national name recognition helped raise nearly $78 million for a gubernatorial candidate and helped take down Stacey Abrams.
Tune in as we unpack Bobby's fascinating journey through the world of political campaigns, offering insights, anecdotes, and lessons learned along the way.

Bobby Saparow has worked with multiple candidates and campaigns across the country, from Congressional races to national Presidential campaigns. Most recently, Bobby successfully managed Governor Brian Kemp’s gubernatorial re-election campaign and ran an independent expenditure for Vice President Mike Pence’s Presidential campaign. Shortly after successfully managing Kemp’s re-elect, Bobby won the AAPC National Campaign Manager of the Year Award and was named to their 40 under 40 list.

Prior to Kemps campaign, Bobby served as Chief of Staff to Deputy Whip Drew Ferguson in the U.S. House of Representatives. As Chief, Bobby helped steer Congressman Ferguson to becoming one of the quickest members to ever be assigned Chief Deputy Whip. Bobby also served as Southeast Regional Political Director for Ben Carson’s Presidential campaign, helped elect Rick Allen, in one of the country’s most competitive house races of that cycle, and served various finance roles on campaigns across the country.

A University of South Carolina graduate, Bobby resides in Marietta, GA with his daughter Hayes and dog Cooper.
