The emotional toll of being in court can be tremendous.This is the most expensive hidden cost. There’s a huge personal and emotional cost that comes with a prolonged court case. We once had a client who worked as a financial planner. And he was terminated from that business. And he decided to take them to court. Now, he went to court and spent probably two years of his life, just focusing on trying to sue his former employer for money that he wasn't really interested in. But he wanted to sue them anyway.
