Sal launched into a fiery monologue defending Juan Soto, arguing that it's absurd for anyone to criticize his performance, especially given his MVP-caliber numbers and how he's been the one consistent bright spot for the Mets. To add insult to injury, Sal ranted about the state of baseball, bewildered by how a gimmicky, circus-like team like the Savannah Bananas can sell out Yankee Stadium at exorbitant prices while making a mockery of the sport he loves.
