Hour 1 Jerry wanted to put his fist through a wall listening to Joe Douglas yesterday. Jerry feels Douglas was focused on not saying the wrong thing about Haason Reddick and his agent. Willie thinks it was smart of Douglas to say something but not actually reveal anything. CLo is in with his first update of the day and begins with Edwin Diaz and the Mets bouncing back. They won their series in Arizona. Joe Douglas explained what’s going on between the Jets and Haason Reddick. Dak Prescott doesn’t have a deadline for his extension. Carlos Alcaraz lost in a huge upset at the US Open. In the final segment of the hour, Jerry and Willie discuss the Giants unretiring Ray Flaherty’s number for Malik Nabers. Hour 2 The Mets shoved it back in our faces yesterday. Jerry said they proved they are a team you can’t give up on until it’s officially over. The Mets bounced back and gained a game on the Braves thanks to the Phillies. There’s devastating news from the NHL as Johnny Gaudreau and his brother were killed in an accident. Willie thinks there is still some hostility that Cuban is only over because his team has since made the Finals. Hour 3 Audacy Sports and BetQL’s Lucy Burdge joins the show. She is higher on the Yankees now than she was earlier in the season. Lucy is on the same page as Jerry in thinking that the Jets will go over their Vegas total of 9.5 wins. She even goes so far as to call it “free money”. Lucy isn’t high on the Giants and shares her other favorite plays heading into the NFL season.
