Hello, and welcome to "Beauty and the Biz" where we’ll discuss how to create the ultimate facial surgery practice. Additionally, we’ll discuss the general business and marketing side of plastic surgery.

As always, I’m your host, Catherine Maley, author of “Your Aesthetic Practice – What your patients are saying.” Furthermore, I’m also a consultant to plastic surgeons, to get them more patients and more profits.

Presenting today’s episode titled, “The Ultimate Facial Surgery Practice — with Janice Pastorek, BSN, RN.”

To be sure, some of the longest-lasting relationships I’ve seen in this industry are the surgeon and nurse who share the same values and vision. Obviously, in this scenario, they bring their different skill sets together to create something fantastic.

Notably, Janice Pastorek, RN and her renowned husband and facial plastic surgon Dr. Norman Pastorek, are a great example of that relationship.

Specifically, they built a successful practice in Manhattan on park Avenue in NYC. Furthermore, their practice is not only focused on facial plastic surgery, but also the emphasis on good skincare and a holistic approach to wellness. Additionally, focusing on diet and lifestyle rather than just procedures.

Previously, Janice started out as a hospital nurse, where she met Dr. Paskorek who not only repaired her deviated septum, but also brought her on board to build out his own in-house surgical suite. Astoundingly, they have been in practice together ever since — 43 years ago.

Actually, Dr. Pastorek recently semi-retired but Janice is going strong and providing non-surgical facial rejuvenation. In similar fashion, along with anti-aging modalities to a high-end clientele
